These Terms govern access to Veilbrook, a document redaction service operated by Nwbrains LLC (Wyoming, United States), trading as Veilbrook (“Veilbrook”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and to our Data Processing Addendum and Privacy Policy.
1. The service
Veilbrook detects and masks personal information in documents. The service is assisted: you must review the items flagged for review before relying on a redacted document. We do not promise that any output is free of every possible identifier, and the measured residual is shown in the interface.
2. Accounts
You must provide a valid email address, verify it, keep your credentials confidential, and be authorised to process the documents you upload. You are responsible for activity under your account and for all users you authorise. One account is for one organisation unless we agree otherwise in writing.
3. Acceptable use
You may not use Veilbrook to violate law, infringe rights, process data you are not entitled to process, attempt to access another customer’s data, probe or bypass security controls, reverse engineer the service, or resell it without written permission. You must have a lawful basis for any personal information you upload.
4. Documents and data
You retain ownership of your documents. You grant us a limited licence to process them solely to provide the service. Documents are processed in memory or temporary files and are deleted after processing (within 24 hours at most). We do not train models on your documents. Account metadata is handled as described in the DPA and Privacy Policy.
5. Fees
Paid plans are billed in US dollars through our payment processor. Prices, quotas and billing periods are shown at checkout. Taxes may be added where required. Late or failed payments may result in suspension. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated.
6. Availability and support
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability unless a separate written SLA applies. Support is available in English at support@veilbrook.com.
7. Intellectual property
Veilbrook, its software, models and documentation are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership. You may not copy, modify or distribute the service except as permitted by law or written agreement.
8. Confidentiality
Each party will protect the other’s confidential information with reasonable care and use it only to perform these Terms. We do not access customer documents except as necessary to provide support you authorise or as required by law.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR REVIEWING OUTPUT BEFORE DISCLOSURE.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, DATA OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
11. Suspension and termination
You may delete your account at any time from the account area. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment, security risk or legal requirement. On termination, we delete customer data as described in the DPA, subject to legal retention and backup expiry.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email or in the service before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The state and federal courts located in Wyoming have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
